| Vietnam shares the same attitudes to dress and social taboos , as
other Southeast Asian cultures. In a pagoda or temple you are also
expected to leave a small donation . Passing round cigarettes (to men
only) is always appreciated and is widely used as a social gambit aimed
at progressing tricky negotiations, bargaining etc. |
